I know I have ‘preached’ about starting from where you are, as opposed to waiting and waiting (more like stalling) to get better.
Now that you’ve started (hopefully), now that business idea is off the ground, now you’ve started writing, now that relationship seems to be going well, now you’re learning more about yourself and honing your skills… don’t stop. Growth does not stop when a seed grows into a tree, it goes on to bear fruits and it keeps going.
What about you? Are you still growing? Or you’ve found the “winning formula” and you’re settled.
Listen, don’t mistake mediocrity for efficiency.
If it ain’t broke… don’t fix it. Look again. Do a proper assessment to make sure it’s working at optimal capacity.
If it’s good, can it be better? If it’s working, can it work better?
Many times people are not willing to change their modus operandi, and if you ask them why, they’d probably tell you ‘cos “it’s been working” so far.
Sometimes that car that feels like it’s in “good health” just needs a touch for you to see a visible difference. Your drive can be better! All you need to move from where you are might simply be to REALIZE that this is NOT the best it can be!
“Good is the enemy of Greatness.”
Settle at YOUR own RISK.
Keep Breathing.
Do leave a comment, I’m eager to connect with you. And if you felt this story was worth telling, then it’s definitely worth sharing.
Thank you for this piece this night.
